Break In

In December, we had the misfortune and inconvenience of an overnight break in. CCTV showed that 2 men (unfortunately not caught) forced entry into the practice by shattering the front door window, and escaped with our beloved stock of Maui Jim sunglasses. The clever little bug**** even managed to rummage through all the cupboards to find the matching cases before escaping. Upsetting and unsettling as the episode was, as the dust settled, I was quite grateful that most of the stock had not been touched, and we moved on with lessons learned. Thank you to Dan at Dynamic Security Systems for fitting the new alarm system, to D&A Renovations for replacing the internal doors, and to Gareth (Rachel’s husband) for the emergency boarding up of the front door! After waiting a few months, the new stock of Maui Jims are now in, ready for the summer 🌞.
